last booting 1:25 minutes.. Great work guys!

Actually, it was way faster booting 4 me. Only 30 seconds. In any case, iPhone 3G, iOS 4.1, and Android 2.3!!!!!! Great work! Here are some more pics.

Overall is as good as before, but not better.

However,
Power management is worse than before.
The battery level drops quickly even though it is charging,
Also the keyboard is not responsive, treat short press as long press.

I prefer the pull down soft key more, less mistakes were caused by that.

Anyway,
it's Gingerbread! Thank you for the hard work!

It wonts to boot on mine :( none error messages. Only hangs up...

The last message in the console on the iPhone is:
Loading kernel...
Loading android image...
Booting...
Proximity calibration data installed.
Multi-touch calibration data installed.
radio: reading baseband nvram... done

This was it. Display hangs up. Nothing else happening after waiting about 10 minutes. Have to reset with Home + Power.

Any help? :(

Edit: Just copied the 5 Droid Image files to idroid folder on the 3g. they are copied correct. any other things i dont have to do or? just copy and overwrite the old android files right?

The way the 5 files are transferred must have been corrupt.  Try transferring the files again by USB file manager.

great work, the only thing is that it looks like the lcd density is off by a little.

The lcd density is a little higher than a stock build (we preferred it that way) - the only place I have seen this being an issue thus far is in button savior's  settings pane, is there anywhere else this occurs?

There was also an issue in spare parts I believe as well. Most apps should account for differences in LCD density but sadly they do not.

Which USB-Filemanager should i take? is i-file able to receive via usb ?

Edit: Found iFunBox. Should be good for my work :) But now my devie hangs in DFU Mode. If i want to exit DFU with holding home & power for more then 10 secs and release both of them together the windows usb sounds again and it is again in dfu. no possibility to come out of this stupid dfu loop ^^ okay. then i have to restore it :(

Edit2: Haha. Restoring gives only error number 6! Ever and every time :( Becomeing crazy.

Wow, inkredible. Im just downloading it to boot it!
But, there's still the same issue with the battery?
Really that's my primal matter, cause i DONT WANNA USE AGAIN THE iOS, that's why im still making the same dumb questions xD

The changelog (1st post) does not say anything about battery/power management improvements.  That is kernel level support and currently there are only 4 developers working on the hardware.  They are currently working on porting to newer devices.  So no one is dedicated to fixing this issue until after the newer devices have been ported.  If you (or know someone) have the technical skills for hardware reversing and power management, please feel free to help. We will be very appreciative of all the help the project gets.

Ok, now that you mention it...I have a few friends who are tired too of the iOS, and i've worked with them in the past. Yeah, we'll help, just gimme some time to remember the linux kernel lessons, and to reunite them

PD: I like your signature :)

Ok so once we drag the contents from the iDroid-Pepparkaka-11.01-3G folder to the idroid folder on our devices how do we boot into it?

All you need to do is download RecBoot. It gives out an error, but it's been restored, and is in Recovery Mode. RecBoot will kick it out of Recovery mode.  ;)
Have you ever googled "Google", or put an apple on top of an iPhone? Or dropped a Blackberry Torch in a bucket of berries? You should try it. ;)

Make sure you still have the contents in the firmware file, and use OpeniBoot to boot in, just like normal. :)

OK thanks I successfully boot into it, but it doesn't work lol
