Hi, I've an old iphone 2g with 3.1.2 jb fw, but, when I try to start bootlace, I've the "wrong kernel" issue. What can i do?
I got error of unable to obtain helper firmware, trying again...please kindly advice.I am using iPHone 2G.
its soooo buggy, camera wont work, cant access files from ios, too slow on iphone 3g, and it warms iphone 3g so it restart after idk 30 mins :S And battery percentage is not correct.
I installed Bootlace on my 3g with 4.0. It was jailbroken using Pwnage tool. on first boot it patched the kernel but when I try to install OpeniBoot I get an error that the "kernelcache appears to be incorrectly patched. Reinstall Bootlace." I removed Bootlace and reinstalled it and same issue.Ideas?

The MD5 is 211837595729d36d4c2f7411ec842d85
Could I know what version of Pwnagetool you used please guys
Ok the issue isn't quite what I thought it was. Can you MD5 the kernelcache please? You may need the md5sum utility from coreutils if doing this on your device. Can you also tell me what options you ticked when jailbreaking with redsn0w? Thanks.
