iDroid MoJo V1.0.3 Release Announcement

hi
i have installed idroid on my iphone 2g and i want to give my impression of it. I will give some suggestions and ask some questions.
First i saw that is not good for every day use because they are bugs on some basic things and my suggestion is first to make that basic things to work good like calling messaging, battery indicator(by me it showing that is charging??), battery consuption ...etc and after that things like camera. bluetooth and other. Before iphone i had HTC Diamond and used on it android and i can say that it was much stabel than iDroid everithing was working of this basic things only battery was problem for me and it was Market app where you can download apps... and will you include it in next versions??? And my last suggestion is to change back button to be on "original" back button and not on power button, it is easier to go back.
But this is great job that you are done for now, i know that is hard to work on this, but continue good work    All the best

Only i want ask why messages wont work by me, i had turned off data connections, calling is working but i cant to open Messages app?

There is no "Back" button on the iPhone...

Yes there is back button when you press power button on iphone it goes back.
I can not to open messages, when I press on messages icon display get black and return me to back

I would suggest re-installing iDroid from bootlace (You dont need to reinstall openiboot)

use bootlace to reextract wifi firmware then try again. Other than that theres nothinh more we can do.

WIFI only work one time after boot iDroid in 2G

Testing on iPhone 2G 3.1.3 with MoJo 1.0.3, firmware extracted with Bootlace 2.1, with SSID broascast disabled:

a. When the Wi-Fi radio is ON while booting of iDroid,  this connects correctly to my  Wi-Fi network configurated,  Wi-Fi icon appears in notification bar  and I can navegate on internet. If I turn off and turn on Wi-Fi radio, its behavior is like test c.


b. With the Wi-Fi radio turned off while booting of iDroid. I turn on the Wi-Fi radio using any three switches exist, iDorid connects to my WiFi network, Wi-Fi icon appears in notification bar and  i can navegate on internet. I can do this only one time, because if I repeat this, its behavior is like in next test.


c.
- After that iDroid is booted with the Wi-Fi radio turned off or turned on
- On menu "Settings->Wi-Fi Settings".
- I turn off and turn on radio (twice or more)
- This show "scanning.." and dissapears,  but finaly not show any Wi-Fi broadcasting or connected.
- I lock the screen (power+home) or  waiting few second the black screen and then I unblock this.
- My Wi-Fi Network appears in status "Connected", but the Wi-Fi icon not is in notification bar and i can't navegate on internet

I tried the solution posted on bug #97 about DHCP problem with pid file, but this not work.

For tests I used Wi-Fi network hidden (no SSID broadcast).

I tried with open Wi-Fi network (SSID broadcasti) and this work fine.

With logcat, I found:
W/wpa_supplicant(   336): Failed to initiate AP scan.

A big Thank you to everyone who made this release possible!

I have a iphone 3G stuck in endless apple reboot (hardware error I think). But iDroid works!

Removing com.apple.Springboard.plist from /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/, stopped the watchdog from rebooting my idevice. This made it possible to transfer the iDroid files.

Looking forward to all new releases of openiboot, iDroid and iX !!
