Openiboot Server Problems [solved]
« on: November 26, 2010, 02:20:14 AM »
I installed bootlace on my Ipod touch 1st Gen 3.1.3, kernel patched correctly, but when I went to install Openiboot I got this error message; "Unable to contact update server" My internet connection works fine. Any suggestions?

Fixed. Sorry minor error resolved itself.

ok the whole point of marking a topic as solved is to inform people that if they are experiencing the same problem they can come see how you fixed it

soooo you mind sharing with the rest of class how you fixed it haha

im having the same problem and this is the only post i can find on the subject i was really hoping to learn from your experience but you havent really told us anything in your post about how and why the issue "resolved itself"

Server is up and responding fine. Must be a local problem.
