help with "oibc"
« on: October 25, 2010, 02:00:41 AM »

Ok i really want to install idroid into my ipod touch 1g firmware 3.1.2 jailbroken with blackrain.

im using vmware player with ubuntu 10.10 (the newest one it is anyway)

The only bit that keeps stopping my installing idroid is when i type in "sudo oibc" in the terminal ready and then i press home on opd touch and then quickly press enter on the keyboard. It comes up on my ipod touch but at the end where it says "welcome to openiboot" well its messed up its all over the place on the screen (its hard to explain) well anyway nothing shows up in the terminal and i have tried loads of times and im getting know where. Someone please help me.

i dont know if this helps but when i click android on the option nothing happens all it says usb state changed.

Try pressing Home button first, then wait until you see the Welcome to Openiboot before entering sudo oibc
