iDroid hang up at Android green logo
« on: October 24, 2010, 07:33:57 PM »
Hi! This is my first post.

I'm having trouble loading iDroid, something weird happens. I installed ok OpenIboot, then copied mannualy with FileZilla (and tried with Bootlace) the image files of iDroid. Then extracted firmware with Linux and everything worked fine, touchscreen and wi-fi.

But when I turn on the device and select android as OS, it hangs up at android full-screen logo (i think is busybox), logo "shine" freezes and I have to restart until it works.
Then when I'm not using the device, it locks itself, but at random times it hangs up too.

I don't know how can I debug what's going on.. so I need your help :)
Thanks in advance!!

Looks like the images are corrupt... :(

When installing via Bootlace, delete everything as overwriting the files may not work properly.
Help Google takeover the world. Use Android on your mobile devices, use Chrome Browser, use Chrome OS!!!

Oh, I directly restored my iPod and made a fresh install with manual (the second time) and Bootlace (first time) and it's the same to me.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

I hope this helps, something is not working as i can see an hex code of the command and not the command name itself:

Code: [Select]
ftl: ftl_simple_merge
ftl: ftl_simple_merge
ftl: ftl_simple_merge

Command 0x005E timeout
Received CMD_RESP with invalid sequence 144 (expected 145)
Command 0x001E timeout

It's not as exactly as iPod screen because i wrote it down on paper, I wasn't at home :(

I hope this helps to solve this issue
Bye!

That is caused by corrupt images, stuck some fresh ones on :)
