how to get gapps on ifroyo

Hi !

Yesterday I installed 1Shot R13 0.6 beta on my 3G
It's works great. Then I tried to install the gapps with the instructions from this thread.

After the 3G restart I see on the screen the Android "Button" from the "setupwizard" but nothing happens when I click on them.

Make I a mistake or is there a incompatibility with the 1Shoot version?

I had the same problem. I just used the "4 Corner Bypass" method to get passed it...

I am not exactly sure why i had to delete flash, but i tried it before with out deleting flash and the launcher would always crash making the phone unusable.

I dunno how it is on the 3G, but on 2G, there's not enough space on the System partition for all those APKs. Those two you deleted happen to be the two largest of all of them in that directory and makes it so they barely fit. That's my pet theory, anyway.

I am also (like Scigo, below) running into the "can't establish a reliable data connection to the server" error when trying to setup my google account, even though I can connect to wifi and use the browser without any problems.  Has anyone else seen this (and figured out how to fix it)?  If so, what did you do?

can i use the buggless beast version 0.3 in froyo or there is something with the compatibility?

I have sucesfully installed v0.1 but can't login. "can't create reliable connection" message. I don't know what to do. I am connected to internet via wifi. I tried factory reset.

Can somebody tell me why my mobile data network in iOS4 reset to deafult everytime i boot an android?

I seem to be havving the same problem related to the not being able to establish a data connection int eh "Add a google Account" part. Data is on, Wifi is on, i can make calls and surf the web, yet i can't get this to connect, nad without it, I can't use the market whatsoever.

running iDroid 1.0 Mojo on 3G, installed using Bootlace. I've tried bugless beast v0.1, v0.2, and v0.3, all give the same results roughly.

I have ran all the steps and they all worked fine! I skipped the wizard with the 4 corner thing! but all the apps are super unstable (most  wont boot!) Any suggestions anyone?

While transfering the apks across it froze on gmail and then my phone also froze and the terminal didnt respond to any commands. So i force reset it and now android doesnt have any service and now there is no setttings (the actually application), so i cant turn my wifi back on.

But before i even tried this i was unable to sign into my google account to sync my contacts.

Anyone have an idea on what apps are Google Apps themselves in the app folder? We are copying all off the apps in there, and that may be a problem. If we just need to copy 10 files that might work instead of the whole app folder. Every version of froyo I try does not work. I either cannot get the wifi to allow it connect with ifroyo, idroid kernel panics or doesnt work. iphodroid does not work either. I really wish they had some tutorial that worked on how to add the apps as the OS is kind of useless without them. I need to go to bed, I am pretty frustrated with trying everything and still being back to a non working install.

I've been successful at installing these apps, along with Advanced Task Killer, Androzip, and ROM manager installed, but like many others, numerous apps crash. When I first launched the phone, I had to use the "four corner" bypass trick on the setup screen. Since doing this, I have no way to sync to Gmail? If I go to Accounts & Sync, my only option is "Corporate." How can I get the Gmail/Google option back? I tried Factory Data Reset, but I still don't get the option.

By the way, this project is AWESOME! Thanks for all your efforts!
