Call issue in iDroid 1.0.2
« on: September 29, 2010, 08:25:40 AM »
Hello guys! I have installed iDroid 1.0.2 using Bootlace. The problem is, I cant use the device to make calls. When try to call nothing happens and then I can`t end the call :( Other thing, there is a very quiet noise from my speaker all the time. Any ideas? Thanks :)

I have exactly the same issue...

What did you jailbreak your device with?
Is it unlocked through Jailbreak or Factory?

Thanks
Mark

As far as I know there is not factory unlocked 2G. It`s jailbroken with Blackra1n, RedSnow etc... but still have the issue. Now waiting for the 1.0.3 release and hoping for a major fixes :)

Same issue at 1.0.3 :( Some idea why is that?

P.S. When try to call myself from another phone, I hear the signal but the iPhone is not ringing...no indication shown on the phone that someone is calling me :(

Try disabling data in settings > wireless & networks > Mobile networks

This is known to be interfering with cellular connections because we dont have data implemented yet.

Is this still just buggy because an ever better version is just around the corner? Or is this enthusiasts club a way of beta testing it towards a more permanent version?
I believe google to be a necessary evil
I run iOS 3.1.2 cause I can
and all 5 major browsers, since one always sucks

We commit as much code as we can on a day to day basis, the idea is to get a fully stable linux based OS fully ported, but as yet we are nowhere near that goal
