The norbackup.dump is only needed if you need to restore from a backup if your device becomes bricked.

1. No

f you have iDroid installed, just get the files from the cdn mirror http://cdn.idroidproject.org/release/idroid/

Anything 1.0 and above (but no 11.xx) is Froyo.

But you are on an iPod Touch. It will still be slow and crashing.

You can use virtual box. No other way to get it. Zephyr2.bin is proprietary Apple material so you won't find a link to it anywhere here.

iPhone 2G / Re: I Can Not Manual Zephyr Extraction

That would be illegal to post such files.

Install iokittools from cydia.
http://www.idroidproject.org/wiki/Installing_iDroid_(Windows)#Manual_Zephyr_Extraction

Or install virtualbox and install ubuntu on it.

iPod Touch 1G / Re: Broke my wifi, and restored ipod.
« on: May 20, 2012, 10:11:00 PM »
How wifi operates in iDroid should not affect wifi operations in iOS.

Restoring iOS in iTunes is the same as manually uninstalling iDroid then restoring iOS.

I pick the 12 gauge shotgun.

Power management is not implemented.  Battery will empty really fast.  Charging may not work as well.

There are no GPU drivers correct.  Don't try playing any games cause it likely will not work.
