Now, i understand you CANNOT put android on the 3GS's with new boot rom, but what about the ones with the old boot room?

It is technically possible, but first a lot of work needs to be done by the very small crowd of people with the skills to figure it out.
32gb factory unlocked iPhone 3GS with early bootrom and shsh for all available firmwares
others: 16gb iPhone 3G, 16gb iPhone 2G, 8gb iPod touch 1G, 16gb iPod touch 1G, aTV2
