Hello i have a problem

cegg@ubuntu:~$ sudo ./loadibec openiboot.img3
[==================================================] 100.0%
cegg@ubuntu:~$ sudo ./oibc
Failed to find a device in OpeniBoot mode.


After "loadibec" the screen didnt flash and the boot menu didnt load.

Welcome to the forums! Sorry man, if you have an iPod 2G that is an MC model, it won't work. Check in Settings-General-About. If you got an MB model, then (considering you posted in the iPHONE 2G section) i think you got an iPhone 2G OpeniBoot image. Where did you get it? Also, check Novo's guide in iPod Touch 2G section. Maybe it will help if you got an MB model. pEAcE.

iPhone 2G and iPod Touch 2G are different. There is no support for iPod Touch 2G yet as OpeniBoot is still being ported.

We also don't know when if will be supported.  It will be done when it is done.

ipod touch 2g is not fully supported so use ireb after the openiboot installation fails
