Use Ninn's extraction technique to get the firmware.

We cannot send or post links to the firmware binaries anywhere on the site.  We can tell you how to get them yourself (check wiki for Ninn's extraction technique).

This is the link

only that the wi-fi  sdcard and other

need  sd8686_helper.bin zephyr2_cal.bin sd8686.bin zephyr2.bin zephyr2_proxcal.bin  in private/var/firmware

Can you please reupload it? The links is down. It says:
This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.

This limit is reached.

I Re-uploaded it, hopefully it works for you guys I'm still uploading it to my phone as I'm typing right now.

http://www.mediafire.com/?z2j3kmgyfht

EDIT: Since I'm yet to test this and there are no instructions or source, idk if the kernel in the file is for iPhone 3G or not. So just try it out and if it's not, just try to use alex's kernel or whichever you prefer.

EDIT #2: I don't think the kernel (zImage) supplied is for iPhone 3G or at least it doesn't work right. I keep getting white text and then a black screen. android does not boot for me. Trying alex's kernel now.

EDIT #3: Kernel that comes with it does work, just extremely slow, and gives me only force closes (I can't use it at all). So trying alex's kernel now

For me as of right now, I cannot get WiFi or sound working, and there is a major lag with no GPU support here. No GAPPs, and I don't know how to port them with android 2.2. IMO android 1.6 was a better port

It works for me, get no Force Closes whatsoever. Using Alex's kernel.

However, it is very slow :( Also WiFi is not working. When you want to enable it, it says 'error'.
