Hey

I recently attempted an install of OpeniBoot running Ubuntu Linux 10.04 32-bit (had to dual boot with Arch). I would consider myself an advanced linux user, however, I am not quite advanced with things like this. I jailbroke my iPod Touch (2nd gen) with blackra1n and was running 3.1.2 firmware. I followed the following guide:
http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/sho ... p?t=291087I have successfully built the GNU toolchain.
When I plug my device in (recovery mode of course), running:
sudo client/loadibec openiboot.img3
causes the device to flash white and reboot. No OpeniBoot, nothing but Apple's iBoot

I really want to get this resolved because I am interested in helping out with the project. I have done things in the past with C/Assembly such as writing my own kernel, etc.
Thanks in advance, and ask if you need more info

EDIT: I pulled the latest from jaywalker's github. Just noting that
EDIT EDIT: Sorry, should this be in "Help!"?
