iphone 2g calular data doesnt work, wifi problems in ios

iphone 2g 1.1.4 to 3.1.3 bootlace, openiboot, idroid 11.04
celular data doent work in droid, wifi works fine, picks up multipul access points

upgrede from 1.1.4 to 3.1.3 there were no wifi problems as i had to connect to the AP again, used custom 3.1.3 firmware from http://homeofmagic.blogspot.com/

ios 3.1.3 wifi is greyed out yet still connected and working through my home AP, reset settings you can click, but nothing happens (i think im meant to restart)
went to ziphone, old ass jailbreak app and checked fix wifi, it did a reset all network settings, cellular data worked then it promped me for wifi password to home network now its working but still greyed out. wififofum wont pick up any different APs.

how far can i start to go before messing up the openiboot thing and idroid install?
people are talking about fake empty baseband and nvram flashes but im unsure of what will wreck idroid.

Cellular data has never worked in iDroid.

As for your WiFi in iOS, iDroid never messes with that. Check your custom firmware.

Bootlace does not support custom firmware. If Bootlace installed OpeniBoot with you having a custom firmware, then the custom firmware creators did some hacking with their firmware to match the compatibility check. That could cause your WiFi problem since Bootlace patches the kernel.

i fixed it, the reset i did with ziphone screwed it up not openiboot but idroid wouldnt boot up.

uninistalled idroid, then openiboot, unpacked the kernel then uninstalled cydia sysiolctls or something and restarted it.

bootlaced it again etc, problem solved

ive noticed it takes ages to recharge and runs much hotter while working in idroid
does it increase the clock speeds to what theyre meant to run at?

why is there no gprs data? from my browsing it was mostly supported on the 2g

Everything has to be reversed so don't expect everything to working at once.
