Downgrading to Froyo
« on: June 08, 2012, 11:26:07 AM »
Hi,

I recently installed iDroid 11.4 (GingerBread) & it was quite slow and kept crashing, going back into the iDroid splash screen.

I want to downgrade back to a Froyo version -I know this isnt possible with Bootlace. Where can i found information on how to install it manually, i couldnt find anything on the Windows iDroid installation page -all i could find was info about openiboot.

Please Help!

Hi there, you'd be lucky to get any reply at all this forum is dead,
I'd like to downgrade too but i'd have to do it the manual way because bootlace doesn't work.

f you have iDroid installed, just get the files from the cdn mirror http://cdn.idroidproject.org/release/idroid/

Anything 1.0 and above (but no 11.xx) is Froyo.

But you are on an iPod Touch. It will still be slow and crashing.

SSH the files to /private/var/idroid
