iphone 2g endless openiboot loop

yesterday i installed idroid with bootlace onto my iphone 2g and it was working fine and dandy, except i accidentally pressed the power and home button together and made it hard reset. now it is stuck in an endless openiboot loop. pressing the power button as if to turn it off, makes it run the linux stuff (lines and lines of code n stuff)
from what i read online, i need to enter some sort of commands in the console to empty the nand flash but my problem is that my phone, wont do anything other than run openiboot.
is there someone else here who has a similar case like mine?
is there any sort of fix for me?

If you previously installed iPhodroid then used Bootlace, refer to this link:

If not, please be a little more specific, because from what you describe, the above link will solve it.

no i did not install iphodroid.
so i went to the link i posted. how exactly would i use the terminal commands on osx?
i dont think my computer detects my iphone.

sudo ./oibc
4. Once you are in the OpeniBoot console, enter these commands:
printenv
If it displays "opib-hide-menu true" then set it to false by entering the command:
setenv opib-hide-menu false
saveenv
5. Then reboot:

Sorry the link was if you used iphodroid in the past.

Uhm ignore the above link if you never used iphodroid at all.  It's only useful if you used iPhodroid.

Can you boot into iOS?  Sorry I thought you meant you keep booting into OpeniBoot console and can't boot into other OS.

You can try a DFU if all else fails

i cant boot into ios. it just goes into the lines of text and then welcome to openiboot and freezes there. the "welcome to open iboot" is all distorted

Ok so the link above is helpful.

You need to use oibc for osx. You can get it from http://idroid.nickpack.com/openiBoot/Tools/ then pick the oibc-osx.

You need to use OS X 10.6. We didn't have one compiled for Leopard.
You also need to have libreadline installed.

im really confused i have no idea how to install libreadline D: and i cant even get into the openiboot console could you give me step by steps as to what to do?

okay so i got libreadline *configured* but i cannot make a library with it

sudo ./oibc 
it prints

You need to install libusb...

You are still not yet in oibc console because oibc cannot run without libusb library.

i installed libusb 1.0 but it wouldnt work.
