Since there is a new bootrom exploit and its untethered, is this great news for us iphone 4 users? 

any eta?

Also is there any other place that i can find updates on how the iphone 4 port is going? or is this like the mmi and tipb of android porting :D.

That's what I was thinking, I follow most major iPhone devs on twitter and no mention of a new untethered bottom exploit? Source?

When i said new i was referring the the one geohot found.  i didn't really mean new new.

geohots bootrom exploit is also tethered and requires comex's untethered userland jailbreak to run untethered overall, so its the same case as SHAtter was :/ but theres always developments, so you never know, there may well be an untethered openiboot for the new devices one day :)
