Freeze on Sleep

Im running the latest version of openiboot and idroid (installed via bootlace). Everything else works fine, but when i let the device go to sleep it freezes and stays on a black screen. It doesnt react to touch, the home button, or the power button. The only way to get the device working is to perform a hard reset. Is this a common issue or did i install something wrong?

This is not a common issue and is the first time I've heard of it.

Why would you think you did something wrong? Did you do any tinkering?

And fyi touching the screen will never bring it out of sleep.

I managed to reproduce it on my 3G so there is an issue there. :(

ddominator is correct about it not waking by touch, its not supposed to, but I managed to reproduce the lockup.

BurningStar: could you open an issue on our tracker please with as much detail as you can give (reproduce steps if possible) and I'll get it looked at.

I experience the same thing on my ipod, both with manual install and via bootlace.

What I noticed is that if I let my ipod sleep for too long (over hours or over night) it freezes, but if I wake it up after 30-45 minutes or so it takes long time to show lock screen and most of the times the lock screen's graphic looks weird. So I decide not let it sleep when I want to use it (Screen timeout 30 minutes and regularly touch the screen) and reboot into iOS to let it sleep at night.

This happens when an application (usually acore) locks up leading to the whole device locking up. It being in sleep mode means that it refuses to wake up. It's happened to me many times, usually leaving it for a couple of minutes allows it to sort itself out.

At my device, it happens everytime, and I have to Hard Reset it.
