Ok. You did say iPhone 3G right? Cause it won't work on iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch 3G. Just to make sure (We had a 3page thread where we tried debugging why bootlace didn't work and it turned out the guy had a 3GS but said it was a 3G).

Blackra1n works with Bootlace. Although I know the newer iOS versions/Blackra1n are better supported.

Try redsn0w then.

Is this the first time you installed Bootlace? That is you never upgraded from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 with a previous Bootlace?

Bootlace / Bootlace not working with Blackra1n
« Last post by dwebber18 on Today at 07:50:23 PM »
Hey everyone!  I'm running an iPhone 3g on 3.1.3 and it has been jailbroken with Blackra1n.  When I open Bootlace it says the kernel is wrong and I need to jailbreak with redsn0w.  Thought Bootlace worked with Blackra1n, does it not?  If not that's fine I'll rejailbreak with redsn0w if I have to.  Thanks for your help.

Seriously?

The Palm Pre shares no similarities to the iOS devices so no one here can help you.

You can easily check if it worked with MobileTerminal. Just type su, your passwd and then
sysctl -a and look for the three cpufrequency values, or type
sysctl hw.cpufrequency
sysctl hw.cpufrequency_min
sysctl hw.cpufrequency_max

iPhone 3G / Re: OpeniBoot CANT RESTORE!
« Last post by noforu on Yesterday at 04:42:25 PM »
As it was said alraedy, you do not need to unistall openiboot to properly restore
But if the iphone gives you hard time trying to restore I suggest using iReb by iH8sn0w
It helped me restore when I had problems with the restore stopping in the middle ( as you described)

http://ih8sn0w.com/index.php/products/view/ireb.snow

Notice: works on windows only.

good luck
