Meaning that your release does not have the touchscreen fix.

ddominator wrote:What the heck is the "touchscreen fix?

The touchscreen fix is a small section of code added to the zImage that allows users who've had their digitizer replaced to use multitouch.
This seems to be the case with all 2g phones who have had both OEM apple and chinese parts.

link here to a thread with the solution:

Hopefully someone will be able to have this resolved soon.

Ah that touchscreen fix.

No I don't think I put it there.

Try one of Alex's kernels (zImage). I know he knows stuff about the touchscreen fix.

No luck.

I'm thinking for some reason that my drivers arn't loading.
I keep seeing weird output in the linux kernel while it's booting.
Seems to be different with each zImage and I've tried 3 so far... :S

Well you should be on Iphone 2G for this... and so should the kernels you are using.

Did you put the firmware in /private/var/firmware?

Updated test version to number 5.

Changes:
1. Fixed Market bug that displays Installation Failed.
2. Resized userdata.img to 150MB for more app space
3. Automatically fixes /private/var/mobile/Media permissions to allow shared iOS and Android library.

Just drop android.img.gz if you want.

Got version 5 to work, and it seems to be detecting the "SD card" storage usage from the iPhone OS. However, I have already refreshed using the Media Scanner and my iTunes library doesn't show up in Android. Do I still have to do some scripts or download a fix? Already said in the description that V.5 already has the libraries linked. Thanks in advance.

Hmm I fixed the startup script to fix the shared libraries thing. If it doesn't work do this:

Thanks for telling me about this bug. I will look into android.img.gz to see why this isn't working.

Thanks too for providing an ample solution to this problem. I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing the glitch, hope someone else running ver. 5 has noticed anything.

What do u mean by
"5. Put your firmware into iPhoneOS /private/var/firmware if you haven't done this yet. Create a "firmware" folder if you have to."
?
I dont need just to move it to /private/var ?

Thanks
