Ok i used iphodroid r11 beta for my 2G 3.1.2 jailbroken iPhone.
Terminal work, scroll mode work.. but my 2G stop at the message: "Welcome to Openiboot"! And than? What I have to do or what I did wrong?
After a reboot it starts with iOS.

Installing openiboot on your device
All commands below are to be run from your Mac, from within the iDroid utils directory.
Copy loadibec and oibc from osx-usb-tools.tar.gz to your utils directory (overwriting the linux versions)
Put your phone into Recovery Mode.
Run:
sudo ./loadibec openiboot.img3
The openiboot menu should now be displayed on your phone.
Press the button on the top of your phone to select the openiboot console, then press the home button.
Run:
sudo ./oibc
Your terminal should now show the same text that's displayed on your phone's screen. If not return to point 1.
Type
install
Once done, type
reboot
Note: If your device refuses to start up after installing openiboot, you need to enter Recovery Mode mode and Restore your device using iTunes. The best alternative is to use redsn0w 0.9.2, this will keep your settings and data intact.
